GZ's full range of services cover the development of ground investigation programs, on-site supervision of drilling, sampling, and testing, as well as the interpretation of the collected data.
Our experienced geotechnical team develop a targeted ground investigation program for tunneling and underground construction as well as foundation and earthwork projects ranging from conceptual to detailed design levels. Starting with an evaluation of existing geotechnical information, we design a cost-effective program that includes recommendations of spacing of boreholes and identification of potential borehole locations, type of drilling and depths, in-situ sampling, and laboratory testing requirements.
Our team provides program coordination and on-site supervision and support throughout the ground investigation process. Our personnel provides independent oversight on behalf of the client during the ground investigation to ensure appropriate samples are collected and evaluate the collected data for completeness and accuracy.
Our engineering geologists interpret the collected geotechnical and geological data and develop 2D and 3D geological models, Geotechnical Data and Baseline Reports, and geotechnical parameters for detailed design.
