The Clark-Atkinson-Technique team is making rapid progress on excavation of the Plane Train Tunnel West Extension project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The project’s vertical shaft was completed end of 2020 and excavation of the 700-ft tunnel extension of the airport’s automated people mover system is progressing quickly. The project will improve train operation and efficiency by reducing headway and increasing service frequency.

GZ Consultants is providing peer review services to the project as well as critical on-site construction support with the Senior SEM Tunnel Engineer, as well as Senior Tunnel Superintendents.
