The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has announced that Phase 1 of the the new Silver Line, eventually extending Metro’s service to Dulles International Airport, is 87 percent complete. With heavy construction over, MWAA is now installing electrical equipment and testing the new rail line.
