An article recently published by gizmodo.com which highlights the East Side Access Project, currently being constructed beneath Manhattan.  When completed, the project will connect the Long Island Rail Roads (LIRR) Main and Port Washington lines in Queens to a new LIRR terminal beneath Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.  The cavern shown in the article will be part of the terminal.  GZ has played a major role on The East Side Access Project, including both design and construction support services.  Click here to read the article.
