We are thrilled to share that GZ along with AECOM, were honored with the Silver Award in the ITA-AITES Major Project of the Year (over €500M) category for their role in the success of the GrandCentralMadison Project in NewYork. GZ’s Principal Nasri Munfah, accepted the Silver Award along with Mike Pudjak, Project Executive of AECOM, at the 10th ITA Tunnelling and Underground Space Awards in Genoa, Italy, last Thursday.

GZ has been involved in the tunnel engineering and construction support for this project for 22 years and has advised on the design, structural and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring programs, construction, and waterproofing and final lining alternatives, and construction management and inspection services.

We sincerely thank the International Tunneling Association (ITA) for this recognition, and congratulate the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), as well as our exceptional clients and project teams, and all the finalists who share our dedication to advancing this important industry.
